Help Sandal Falls at Kiernan – TODAY

In Announcements, by , on September 23rd, 2016

Sandal Falls is back on campus! Stop by the lawn next to the Kiernan Center on Friday, Sept. 23, anytime between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. to volunteer for Sandal Falls: A BOLD Project!

All students, faculty, staff and community members are welcome to come and give the sandals a little TLC.

Learn and Serve sheets will be available for students to track their service hours.

Sandal Falls is a student-led initiative through Niagara University’s BOLD club that collects sandals, which are worn by tourists who go to the Cave of the Winds attraction at Niagara Falls. Volunteers for the project help with the sorting, sanitizing, pairing and bagging of the sandals, which are then sent throughout the world to areas in need of footwear. Please visit our website to learn more about the project and where we have sent the sandals:

We can also use assistance picking the sandals up on Friday morning on Main Street at 8 a.m. and dropping them off Friday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. Please contact Brittany DePietro at if you are able to help with this, or if you have any questions about the Sandal Falls project.
