#IamVincent: seeking articles
#IamVincent: Campus Ministry & Vincentian Family seeking articles
Called, “#IamVincent”, this project was launched to allow young Vincentians to connect with the experiences of others throughout the Vincentian world. Articles that are stories of service, spiritual reflections, analyses of social problems with suggested responses – all are welcome. Especially important are the testimonies of young people (either during or after their University experience), to be published in a second series called ‘Vincentians of Wherever,” which will help other young people claim their Vincentian identity.
An introduction to the project and how it fits into the Year of Mercy can be found at http://famvin.org/en/2016/01/31/a-world-of-merciful-vincentians/
A selection of already published articles can be seen at http://famvin.org/en/tag/iamvincent and http://famvin.org/en/tag/vincentians-of-wherever/. Many of these articles are translated into Spanish as well at http://famvin.org/es
#IamVincent is coordinated by former Niagara staff member and Vincentian missionary Fr. Aidan R. Rooney, C.M. The Vincentian family website (in English – http://famvin.org/en) is edited by western New Yorkers Elizabeth (Lagowski) Astridge and Matt Astridge.
If you would like to contribute to this project, or know of any students who might be interested, please contact Kristina Daloia at kdaloia@niagara.edu, ext. 8414, for more information.
