Ice Bucket Challenge Buckets

In Announcements, by , on October 1st, 2014

During New Student Orientation, NU freshmen, along with Father Maher and a number of employees, participated in the ice bucket challenge.  We received 300 5-gallon orange buckets from Home Depot, and are now looking to “sell” these buckets in order to raise monies to donate to two organizations, Compassionate Care ALS (www.ccals.org), which supports families and caregivers of those fighting ALS, and Let Them Laugh Out Loud (www.ltlol.com), a WNY non-profit that focuses on clean water and water conservation.  Our goal is to raise $1,000 through the “sale” of the buckets and additional donations.  We will accept a minimum donation of $2 per bucket.  Orders can be placed via email with Gail Struzik at gstruzik@niagara.edu.  Buckets can be delivered to your office over the next few weeks or you can pick them up at Roosevelt House between the hours of 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday.  If you have questions, please contact Gail.
