IMPACT/ReNu – Update (formerly Learn & Serve)

In Announcements, by , on August 31st, 2017

Welcome back to faculty and students! It has been a busy summer in the IMPACT/ReNu Office getting ready for our first year of the newly adopted project-based service learning model.

As most of you know, the Learn & Serve office has been transformed into the office of IMPACT/ReNU. IMPACT/ReNu continues to be housed in the Rev. Joseph L. Levesque C.M. Institute for Civic Engagement. The transition from Learn & Serve to IMPACT/ReNU has brought a number of changes.

Staff: Below are the staff for IMPACT/ReNU

Location: IMPACT/ReNU (formerly in Bailo) is now located in Academic Complex Room 125.

Forms: The IMPACT/ReNU office is using a new form for student placements. This form should be used for all courses requiring service, clubs, volunteer work, graduation requirements, etc. You can visit or email us to receive a form or visit this link: https://levesqueinstitute.niagara.edu/departments/impact/impact-forms/.

Transportation: Transportation is available for students needing to get to service sites. Students who need transportation should fill out the form on our transportation page. https://levesqueinstitute.niagara.edu/departments/impact/transportation/ (this DOES NOT include education majors). If you have a request to use a van visit this link:  https://levesqueinstitute.niagara.edu/departments/impact/transportation/impact-van-request-form/.

We have made some changes to the transportation process.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact us at 716-286-8750 or through email at impact@niagara.edu. We look forward to working with you!

This is an exciting time for Niagara University to continue to make an IMPACT in the community and allow students to gain valuable career experience through service.

Please stop in and meet Tom and Brittany!

Sincerely,

Patricia Wrobel
