Ingram Micro, No. 76 on the 2013 Fortune 500 in technology sales, marketing and logistics, has dedicated its time and resources to partner with Niagara University.

With 1,500 employees based in Williamsville, N.Y., it is the company’s second largest office. Due to Ingram Micro’s business model, the organization has a large sales force, which benefits from a fun and competitive work environment – and was named a 2013 Best Place to Work by Business First of Buffalo.

Jeffrey Streb, senior director of human resources at Ingram Micro, has worked with Niagara University’s Career Services office and Dr. Lisa Williams, assistant professor of management in business administration, to engage students in a variety of ways. According to Streb, Ingram Micro wants to “cast a wide net within Niagara” because they see a large opportunity for mutual benefit.
