Introducing the Rathskeller Event Space

In Announcements, by , on September 8th, 2017

Beginning with the new semester, Niagara University is opening The Rathskeller (Room 219) next to the Dining Commons. Formerly the University Dining Club, this unique space will be available as an alternative venue for on campus meetings and events. The new Rathskeller will better allow the university to efficiently utilize this area to meet the demand for event space on campus.

While there will not be table service in this area during the day, if the room is not being used for an event, faculty, staff and administration can utilize the space to eat during lunchtime. In addition, Metz is also offering a frequent diner card, allowing you the opportunity to earn a free meal after 10 are purchased.

With full service and package menus, internet, audio-visual capabilities, the Rathskeller is a great location to hold a lecture event, a business retreat, a luncheon, or any other function.

The capacity for the Rathskeller is:

  • 75 for sit down meals.
  • 100 for high-top table reception.

Ad Astra may be used to book the Rathskeller.  For catered events in Room 219 please contact Nicole Slipko (716.286.8421 or nicoleslipko@niagara.edu).

Please see the attached flyer for information from Metz Culinary Management about hosting your next event at the Rathskeller.  The Rathskeller 2
