Last week for Benefit Open Enrollment

In Announcements, by , on April 30th, 2020

Niagara University’s benefit plans renew each year effective June 1.  Our annual Benefit Open Enrollment for the 2020-21 plan year is available from April 14 – May 1, 2020.  This annual occurrence affords benefit eligible employees the opportunity to make any desired changes to their benefit elections through WebAdvisor.

If an employee is not making any changes to his/her current benefit elections, then no action is required.  An employee’s current benefit elections will carry over into the new plan year effective June 1, if no changes are made.  Any employee who is a participant in the Nova Health or Dependent Care FSA (NUFlex) that wishes to enroll in this benefit for the 2020-21 plan year, must re-elect his/her plan(s) through WebAdvisor Benefit Open Enrollment by May 1st.

We encourage all employees to log into WebAdvisor Benefit Open Enrollment to review current benefit elections to ensure that they still meet your current needs, and will continue to for the 2020-21 plan year.

Due to the current circumstances, this year’s Benefit Open Enrollment is 100% virtual.  There will be no in-person information sessions held on campus. Please see the 2020 Benefit Open Enrollment page on myNU for a 2020 Benefit Open Enrollment video which reviews all benefit plan offerings and provides an overview of any changes.

The Office of Human Resources is available by phone and email to assist with any Benefit Open Enrollment related questions, and can be available to “meet” with employees over video conference by request.

Please note that this message pertains to Benefit Open Enrollment for our US benefit plans.
