Levesque Institute Honored By Our Lady Of Angels Association
The Rev. Joseph L. Levesque, C.M. Institute for Civic Engagement and its director, Dr. David Taylor, were honored by the Our Lady of Angels Association during the organization’s annual Vincentian Charities Dinner, which was held May 19, 2016, at the Niagara Falls Country Club.
Also recognized for their work in improving the conditions of those living in the Niagara Falls community were Tom Lowe, director of ReNU Niagara, the Rev. Jimmy Rowe, a community leader who is involved with NU’s urban ministry program, and Seth Piccirillo, director of community development in Niagara Falls and co-founder of LiveNF.
The proceeds from the dinner support programs for the poor, which receive grants through the Vincentian community’s Eastern Province Grant Fund. Many local organizations have received grants from this fund.
