Literature and Social Justice Speaker Series

Dr. James Kyung-Jin Lee, professor of Asian American studies at the University of California, Irvine, will be the inaugural speaker for Niagara University’s new Literature and Social Justice Speaker Series. Dr. Lee will discuss his book, Pedagogies of Woundedness, and participate in a talk and Q&A around the topic “A Winter Coat in the Summer: Mental Illness and the Event Horizon of Asian America.”

Faculty and staff are invited to attend.

1:30 p.m. – Discussion of Professor Lee’s book, “Pedagogies of Woundedness”
3 p.m. – Talk and Q&A: “A Winter Coat in the Summer: Mental Illness and the Event Horizon of Asian America.”
