May is Mental Health Awareness Month!

May is a time to raise awareness of those living with mental or behavioral health issues and to help reduce the stigma so many experience. In alignment with this objective, the Mental Health Literacy Committee is sponsoring workshops offerings that are open to all faculty and staff.

Developing a Self-Care Routine

Description: This training, facilitated by BestSelf, will go over the basics of self-care and a 3-step approach to creating a self-care routine, we will also discuss common barriers and brainstorm how to overcome them. Please join us to put some self-care in your day!

Managing Grief in the Workplace

Date: Wednesday, May 26, 2021

Time: 2:00PM-3:15PM

Description: This session, facilitated by eviCORE EAP, is intended to help attendees familiarize themselves with the grief and loss process, and how to support colleagues who may be experiencing grief. Reducing the reluctance to talk about grief and loss will provide us with the tools necessary to help ourselves and others manage and navigate the grief and loss experience.
