Purple Eagles basketball takes flight for the season this Friday as they take on Big 4 rivals.  Come support the women’s basketball team as they play  St. Bonaventure at 5 p.m., and the men’s basketball team faces Buffalo at 8 p.m. In addition to the game, athletics will host a food drive in conjunction with the Community Mission, as well as, celebrate Military Appreciation Day.  

Fans are encouraged to donate non-expired, non-perishable food items, (particularly stuffing, mac and cheese, instant mashed potatoes), toiletries (diapers, toilet paper, toothbrushes/toothpaste, soap), and men’s gloves. These are all items of great need during the holidays at Community Missions.  Those who donate an item are eligible for a $5 discount off the ticket price. For fans who have already purchased tickets are encouraged to bring an item and can receive the same $5 discount to a future game. 

Also, this game will mark our military appreciation game.  All service men and women will receive a discounted ticket, as well as, special recognition during the game.
