Message from facility services: Heat temperatures during winter break/winter recess
HEAT TEMPERTURES DURING WINTER BREAK/WINTER RECESS
It is our intention to reduce the heat and hot water temperatures in some of our resident areas. Seton Hall, Lynch, O’D and those Varsity Village houses not occupied during recess. This will be effective from close of business Wednesday, Dec. 21, through Jan. 12, 2017. These buildings will be set at 60 degrees during those time periods as unoccupied space according to our energy management initiative.
We also intend to reduce the heat in the office and classroom buildings of Dunleavy, St. Vincent’s Hall, St. Vincent’s Annex, Academic Complex, Alumni Annex, Bailo, Gacioch, the Library, Marion, Physical Plant and Timon to 65 degrees. This will start at the close of business on Wednesday, Dec. 21, until Monday, Jan. 2. Please contact Tina Young at 286.8426 with questions or concerns.
