MLK week: School supply drive for the Boys & Girls Club of Niagara Falls

In Announcements, by , on January 21st, 2016

In celebration of MLK week, the office of multicultural affairs will be accepting school supply donations for the Boys & Girls Club of Niagara Falls.  This will help supply the Boys & Girls club for their daily after school program, as well as allow them to pass along needed supplies to students that may not have the funds to purchase them for school. Supplies needed are pens, pencils, colored pencils, markers, construction paper, lined loose leaf paper, notebooks, kid scissors, crayons, folders and anything else that you think may be helpful.

Donations can be dropped off at the campus activities/multicultural affairs suite in the lower level Gallagher Center through Thursday, Jan. 28, as well as at the men’s basketball game vs. Canisius on Friday, Jan. 22, at 7 p.m. and the women’s basketball game vs. Canisius on Thursday, Jan. 28, at 7 p.m.

Anyone who makes a donation can enter a prize raffle.  The prize winner will be drawn during half-time of the women’s basketball game vs. Canisius on Thursday, Jan. 28.  You must be present to win.  So come out and support our women’s team take on Canisius.
