Warm Up & Cool Down

Warming up and cooling down can be effective parts of your physical activity program. When done properly, they allow you to raise and lower your body temperature and heart rate, reducing the risk of stiffness, soreness and muscle injury.

This week, take 5-10 minutes before and after your workout to warm up and cool down. Simply start and end your routine on a slower and lower intensity.
