Pick Up a Pedometer
Pedometers are an easy way to see how many steps you take each day. You can also use them to set challenges for yourself, or to measure other activities like stair climbing, cross country skiing and dancing. Most adults should aim to eventually reach 10,000 steps (or five miles) per day.
Try using pedometer this week. Wear it during a typical day to get your starting steps and try to build from there. See if you can hit 2,000 steps by the end of the week (and even more the week after).
