MSCHE Self-Study Information Sessions

In Announcements, by , on March 6th, 2017

Niagara University is looking forward to welcoming the seven-member team of peer-evaluators from the Middle States Commission on Higher Education who will be on campus from April 2-5, 2017, as part of Niagara’s decennial reaccreditation.  The purpose of the visit is for the team to confirm the information and evidence contained in the Self-Study report, to better understand our institutional context by experiencing our campus and interacting with our community, and to share their determination of our compliance with the seven Commission Standards for Accreditation.

While the individuals and groups who will be meeting with the visiting team will be contacted in the coming days, it is important that the breadth of the university community be familiar with Self-Study process, findings and outcomes of the report, and what to expect during the site visit.  The following two information sessions will be open to the campus community:

  • Tuesday, March 14: 11:05 a.m.-12:05 p.m., St. Vincent’s 405/406
  • Friday, March 17: 1:20-2:20 p.m., St. Vincent’s 405/406

Please RSVP to Claudia Fleckenstein at cgf@niagara.edu

The final Self-Study report is available for review on myNU by following the “Middle States” link under the “Resources” heading.
