Need a New Year’s Resolution? How about get leaner?

In Announcements, by , on January 20th, 2016

Why not resolve to do some self-improvement that can also help others too?

Come to the Sustainability Committee meetings this semester and find out how.

Environmental responsibility plays a big part in many resolutions, whether it means eating healthier, giving to the poor, volunteering or acting in a more respectful manner towards others (including all life on the planet). The recent UN Climate Change Summit in Paris ended with many nations vowing to do a better job of protecting our environment.  The proposed actions by each country will require the involvement of everyone, so why not start by learning about the challenges that lie ahead and resolve to become an agent of change?  A good start would be to attend Sustainability Committee meetings and see what members of the NU community are doing.
