We are pleased to announce that Jeannine D. Suk has been appointed as Niagara University’s new director of counseling services.

Jeannine has a B.A. in psychology from SUNY Fredonia and an M.A. in counseling psychology from West Virginia University. For the past 13 years, she has served as the director of counseling services at Medaille College, where she also served as an adjunct faculty member in their undergraduate and graduate departments.

Jeannine was chosen to lead the counseling services department following a highly competitive, national selection process. We are extremely grateful to all who served on the selection committee and participated in the on-campus interviews. We are confident that Jeannine’s expertise, experience and personality suits our campus community very well, especially our students and the members of the counseling services department.

Jeannine will join NU on Feb. 29.

We would especially like to thank Dr. Monica Romeo for her willingness to lead this search process and for her many years of outstanding service to Niagara University. We hope you will join us Thursday, Feb. 25, between 1:30 and 3 p.m. in the Gallagher Center’s Multi-Purpose Room to wish Monica success in her new endeavors.
