Niagara Athletics Announcements: Week of March 10, 2014
Lacrosse
The Niagara women’s lacrosse team hosts Detroit Mercy in non-conference action on Friday, March 14. Opening draw is scheduled for 3 p.m. at Niagara field.
The team will hold its Pink Out game during their tilt against the Titans. There will be t-shirts for purchase along with raffles and giveaways with all proceeds going to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Admission to the women’s lacrosse game will be free, although donations will be accepted.
Hockey
Good luck to the hockey team as the Purple Eagles continue their quest for their first Atlantic Hockey Tournament title when Niagara travels to Air Force to battle the Falcons in a best-of-three first round series on Friday, March 14; Saturday, March 15; and Sunday, March 16 (if necessary) at the Cadet Ice Center. Each game will begin at 9:05 p.m. ET.
