The spring graduation festivities at Niagara University got underway Wednesday, May 7, when the 57th and 58th classes of the Niagara County Law Enforcement Academy accepted their diplomas during an event held at the Castellani Art Museum.

“Today we graduate as two classes, but one group of law enforcement officers,” noted Kyle Achtyl while speaking as president of the 57th class.

Following Achtyl’s remarks, 58th class president William LaRue also had an opportunity to address the graduates, advising, “We shall laugh when we can, fight when we must and, always with dignity and respect, serve and protect.”
