Niagara University Athletics Posts Stellar Graduation Success Rate
The Niagara University Department of Athletics had a Graduation Success Rate (GSR) 6 percent higher than the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I national average for the 2005-08 cohort, according to figures released Wednesday. Niagara University posted a cumulative GSR of 89 percent.
Ten Niagara programs had scores equal to or above the national average: baseball, men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s cross country, men’s golf, women’s soccer, softball, women’s tennis and volleyball. Six programs – men’s golf, women’s basketball, women’s soccer, softball, women’s tennis and volleyball – had a perfect (100) GSR.
