Niagara University Criminal Justice Students Receive Zonta Club Award

Two Niagara University criminal justice majors have been selected for the 2017 Safe at Home Conference Award by the Zonta Club of Niagara Falls, N.Y.

The award is given to two outstanding female students in Niagara University’s social work or criminal justice programs. Thanks to the award, Courtney Kenny, of Syracuse, N.Y., and Jaclyn Danvir, a native of North Tonawanda, N.Y., will attend the Niagara County Family Violence Intervention Project’s annual Safe at Home Conference free of charge.

The event is scheduled for Oct. 12 at the Conference & Event Center Niagara Falls. This year’s conference topic is “Seeking Solutions for Adult and Child Victims of Family Violence,” which supports Zonta International’s mission.
