Niagara University Disability Awareness Training at Castellani Art Museum
The Niagara University Disability Awareness Training (DAT) Office has tailored a presentation for the NU employees who provide services in the sports, entertainment, and cultural centers.
Disability Awareness Training brings together education on disabilities while enhancing sensitivity. The presentation aligns with the current diversity initiatives highlighting persons with disabilities within the context of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. It will introduce how disabilities are defined, etiquette and interaction skills, inclusivity, universal accessibility, understanding the Americans with Disabilities Act, and current trends and topics.
