Niagara University Hosting Free CERT Training

Border Community SERVICE of Niagara University is hosting a free CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) training course this fall on the NU campus.

CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) training is a community preparedness course that includes academic and hands-on instruction as well as a disaster training exercise that is designed to prepare individuals to help themselves, family members and neighbors in the event of a catastrophic disaster.

Classes start Nov. 3, 2014, and run seven consecutive Monday nights from 7 to 10 p.m., culminating with a disaster simulation on Dec. 15.
