Niagara University Hosts Annual Career Expo
On Thursday, March 22, Niagara University held a Career Expo in the Gallagher Center for students, alumni and members of the community. The event connected 415 students with potential employers and provided an environment conducive for networking.
With 105 employers from the Western New York area in attendance, the Career Expo enabled students to become familiarized with the job market they will soon be entering. Students visited tables manned by company representatives and featuring promotional items. Handing out resumes to companies that best suited their needs, students left the event feeling excited about their potential opportunities.
“If Niagara hadn’t hosted this event, I’m not sure where I would have started looking for jobs,” said John Payne, a senior business administration major. “I handed out my resume to seven companies and I’m excited to hear back from them!”
