Niagara University Theatre Presents: The Philadelphia Story

“The Philadelphia Story” will be presented from Dec. 5 – 15, by the Niagara University Theatre.  Set in 1939, the story opens on an opulent estate where the wedding of a beautiful, sophisticated, wealthy socialite is to take place and is complicated by the simultaneous arrival of her dashing ex-husband and an attractive journalist. Goodness! What’s a girl to do?

“The Philadelphia Story” will be on stage in the Leary Theatre within the Elizabeth Ann Clune Center for Theatre, Clet Hall, at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 5; and Thursday, Oct. 12; and at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6; Saturday Dec. 7; Friday, Dec. 13; and Saturday, Dec. 14. Matinees will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7; Sunday, Dec. 8 (with post-show discussion); Saturday, Dec. 14; and Sunday, Dec. 15.
