Niagara University will be closed on Friday, May 24
On Friday, May 24, 2019, Facility Services and the Town of Lewiston Water Department will perform maintenance on the campus water service system. Due to the disruptive nature of this work, the Niagara University campus will be closed that day, providing university employees with an extended Memorial Day weekend. You will not be charged a PTO day for taking the time off.
The maintenance work will include shutting off the water to various buildings on campus beginning at 8 a.m. Buildings will intermittently be without any water service for extended periods throughout the day. When the water service is restored, the water may be discolored or cloudy; please allow it to run for a time to clear up.
The water in St. Vincent’s Hall, the Castellani Art Museum, Dwyer Arena, and the Academic Complex is scheduled to remain on throughout the work.
