NU Community Raises Funds To Cover Tutoring Costs For Vietnamese Orphan
A fundraising team at Niagara University recently raised enough money – $1,150 – to cover one year of tutoring costs for a 12-year-old Vietnamese orphan named Tan.
The tutoring will help Tan, currently a resident of Vietnam’s Friendship Village organization, achieve his goal of returning to the mainstream classroom at grade level next year.
