NU Distinguished Alumnus to speak on how NU impacted his life
Bruce George, NU Distinguished Alumnus and co-founder of HBO’s Hit Series Def Poetry Jam, will be on campus Sept. 20 and 21, 2013.
On Friday, Sept. 20, at 5 p.m. in Dunleavy 127, he will present an inspirational story on how Niagara University impacted his life along with encouraging students to consider entrepreneurship. Immediately following, there will also be a Spoken Word Poetry Showcase by various students who will be sharing their poetry.
On Saturday, Sept. 21, at 5 p.m., in the Gallagher Center multi-purpose room, Bruce will conduct a writing workshop.
