NU Featured In ‘Princeton Review’s 2015 Guide To 353 Green Colleges’

Niagara University is one of the 353 most environmentally responsible colleges in the country according to The Princeton Review. The education services company features NU in the 2015 edition of its free book, The Princeton Review Guide to 353 Green Colleges, which was released yesterday.

Niagara University and the University at Buffalo are the only institutions from Western New York to appear on the list.

Published just before the global celebration of Earth Day, the free, 218-page guide can be downloaded atwww.princetonreview.com/green-guide.

Niagara University will hold a series of events to increase awareness, appreciation, protection, and conservation of the natural environment in observance of Earth Day next week.

“The continuing effort from all campus sectors to become more sustainable is commendable,” stated Dr. Mark Gallo, co-chair of Niagara’s Sustainability Committee. “It is everyone’s campus and we require the input and actions of everyone to help us as we strive to achieve the goals of the American College and University Presidents’ Commitment to Climate Change. All are invited to help us celebrate at Niagara University on Earth Day, April 22.”
