NU IMPACT Challenge for Hurricane Survivors: Announcement of Leading College

In Announcements, by , on September 20th, 2017

As part of the university’s continuing mission to help those in need, NU’s newly transformed IMPACT program (formally Learn and Serve) is organizing an effort to collect items to aid the victims of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma.  The month long effort involves our entire university community collecting necessities for the devastated area hit by the hurricanes, everything from phone chargers to school supplies.

The items can be placed in collection barrels in LL Gallagher labeled according to College: Arts and Sciences, Hospitality, Education, Business and AEP.  The college collecting the most items will be presented with a plaque on September 29, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in Lower Level Gallagher Center as part of Vincentian Heritage Week.  For more information, contact the IMPACT/ReNu Niagara Office at 286-8750.
