NU Nursing Students Assist With Memorial Million Hearts Project Public Kickoff Event
Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center will host a Healthy Heart Fair to showcase its new Million Hearts Project at a celebration to be held Saturday, April 29, at the John Duke Center in Niagara Falls, N.Y.
“Nursing students from Niagara University who have been certified with Million Hearts will join Memorial staff members to evaluate and educate about heart healthy behaviors such as proper nutrition, exercise and stress relief strategies,” said Memorial Medical Center Community Ambassador Carey Shanley. “Our Million Hearts Day will feature children’s activities, health screenings and interactive displays along with doctors, nurses and staff specialists.”
