NU Offering Lifeguard Certification Course
Niagara University’s Kiernan Recreation Center is offering an American Red Cross lifeguarding certification class April 18-19.
The two-day course is geared toward individuals seeking summer jobs as camp counselors and/or lifeguards. NU is offering the program at a discounted rate of $175, which must be paid at the time of registration.
Sessions will be held Saturday, April 18, from 5-10 p.m. and Sunday, April 19, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Those who successfully complete the course will receive an American Red Cross certification in Lifeguarding, CPR and First Aid.
