Niagara University would like to congratulate Dr. Ashleigh Molloy on his appointment to the Ontario Ministry of Education (K-12) Education Standards Development Committee. Dr. Molloy’s appointment to this position offers him the privilege to contribute to affecting change in our education system – change that will enable students to reach their personal goals. Dr. Molloy and his fellow colleagues as part of the ministry’s committee are tasked with identifying and removing barriers experienced by students receiving special education services.

Dr. Molloy credits his success as an educator to his Catholic upbringing and values. He has spent his career prioritizing the community as a main stakeholder in education and how he can benefit the community through his innovative methods in education. As an original member of Niagara University’s Ontario Teacher Education Advisory Committee (TEAC), Dr. Molloy serves the university with like-minded colleagues with the responsibility to advise and support the Ontario program’s mandate and the initiatives presented. Dr. Molloy has exercised Niagara University values through and through so it is with great pleasure that we commend him on his success.
