NU President’s Dinner to Honor Five, Raise Scholarship Funds, Celebrate Vincentian Anniversary
Niagara University is set to recognize five community leaders while raising much-needed funds for student scholarships as a way to pay homage to its Vincentian heritage and celebrate the 400th anniversary of the birth of St. Vincent de Paul’s mission of service.
Niagara University, the first Vincentian university established in the United States, will hold its President’s Dinner on Friday, Nov. 17, at the Conference and Event Center Niagara Falls. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. with cocktails and includes awards presentations, dinner and music. “Business attire” is welcome.
Proceeds from the President’s Dinner benefit Niagara University’s scholarship programs. Last year’s dinner raised a net total of $210,000 for student scholarships.
