NU Receives $30,000 Grant In Support Of Nursing Programs

Niagara University is pleased to announce that it has a received a $30,000 grant from the Health Foundation for Western and Central New York in support of the university’s nursing programs.

Through the two-year grant, titled “Investing in an Elder-Competent Workforce,” Niagara will receive $10,000 for the first year, and the balance of the grant will be awarded in year two. The grant will support the enhancement of education specific to the preparation of nursing students so that they can meet the increased and complex needs of the expanding elderly population.
