NU Students March In Pro-Life Rally In Washington
Ten Niagara University students traveled to Washington D.C., in January to participate in March for Life 2015, the largest pro-life event in the world.
Accompanying the group was campus minister Ashley Serwon, ’11, M.S.’13, and two Vincentian priests, Father Vincent J. O’Malley, C.M., and Father John Doai Kim Dang, C.M.
“Children in the womb cannot stand up for themselves, so they need us to stand up for them. As Catholics, we stand up to protect all human life,” NU sophomore Kelly Zaky explained as her impetus for making the trip.
“Protecting the unborn – the defenseless of our country – is a part of our call as Vincentians,” added Zaky’s classmate, Veronica Grande.
