NU Using Social Media To Join ‘Take Your Dog To Work Day’
Niagara University is participating in Pet Sitters International’s “Take Your Dog To Work Day” on June 20 – electronically.
University students, alumni and employees are invited to tweet photos of their pets to @NiagaraUniv, using the #PurplePet hashtag. The pet that receives the most combined retweets and favorites will earn its owner a gift certificate to Blackwinds Pet Supplies in Niagara Falls.

TYDTWDay was established by Pet Sitters International in 1999. This annual event urges businesses around the globe to experience the joys of dogs in the workplace for just one day to celebrate the great companions dogs make and to promote adoptions from local shelters, rescue groups and humane societies.
