NU’s office of international relations will host Study New York’s annual member meeting

Niagara University’s Office of International Relations will host Study New York’s Annual Member meeting on Wednesday, June 24. from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. in St. Vincent’s Hall, Room 405 – 406.  Members, prospective members, prospective partners and members of the Niagara community are welcome to attend any portion of this meeting.

The mission of the Study New York consortium is to work collaboratively with its member colleges, universities and partners through special programs and global outreach to promote New York State internationally as the premier education destination for students, researchers, visiting professors and other exchange visitors.

Study New York, Inc. was founded in 2009 and is the largest consortium of colleges and universities in the U.S., comprised of independent (private, non-profit) colleges and universities, SUNY (State University of New York), and CUNY (City University of New York) colleges and universities. The organization is governed by a Board of Directors elected from its membership and its work is done through three main committees. Non-voting liaisons to the Board include representatives from the Commission on Independent Colleges and Universities (cIcu), SUNY, CUNY, New York State Department of Economic Development, and the U.S. Department of Commerce.
