NU’s ten-year re-accreditation with Middle States

In Announcements, by , on January 26th, 2015

NU’s ten-year re-accreditation process with the Middle States Commission on Higher Education is getting underway. This intensive, two-year process, brings the campus community together for a time of self-study, exploring educational programs, policies and services to determine how well we meet institutional goals, fulfill our mission and meet Middle States’ standards.  The self-study steering committee is looking for involvement from all areas of the university community as we move to establish the working groups that will explore the Middle States standards.  These groups will include the critical collaboration of faculty, staff, administration and students, so there is opportunity for involvement at all levels, from leading a working group, to serving as a working group member, or playing a supportive role.

If you are interested in learning more about Middle States, the self-study process and how you can become involved, consider attending one of the following information sessions:

Tuesday, Jan. 27:  3:30 – 4:20 p.m., St. Vincent’s Hall, Room 405.

Friday, Jan. 30:  10 – 11 a.m., St. Vincent’s Hall, Room 405.

If you have any questions, or are unable to attend an information session and want to learn more, please contact Chris Sheffield, at crs@niagara.edu.
