NUSGA Sponsors Leadership Luncheon-Call for Nominations

NUSGA is sponsoring the 9th Annual Leadership Luncheon to honor students who are proficient in leadership and have a commitment to service, as they demonstrate the core values that represent Niagara University. Students, faculty, staff and administration are able to nominate students online on myNU that they believe are deserving of an award.

 Descriptions of the awards are listed below.

Niagara University Core Values:
-Spirituality: Attentiveness to the spirit within that connects us to the world around us.
-Knowledge: The lifelong pursuit of truth and excellence.
-Creativity: Innovative and practical responsiveness to the needs of all people.
-Integrity: Consistent, continuing truthfulness to oneself and to others.
-Compassion: Opening oneself to relationships with others, serving with acceptance and respect.

Individual Achievement:
-Leader of the Year: A student that has demonstrated excellence in leadership skills this academic year.
-Vincentian Spirit Award: A student that exemplifies the service spirit of St. Vincent DePaul and the mission of the university.

Please log onto myNU and nominate students you feel are deserving of this recognition! The nomination banner is up on myNU through Friday, March 22nd. Nominations will be evaluated by a panel and those chosen will have the opportunity to be recognized by their peers, faculty, staff and administration on May 5th, 2019 at the Leadership Luncheon.
