October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month…Help support the cause. Take a look what is happening:
Survivor and Remembrance Ribbon Signing: Stop by and sign your ribbon of support for those currently fighting breast cancer or in remembrance of those who lost their courageous battle. Ribbons will be displayed in the MPR throughout the month of October. Additional ribbons are available at the office of health services.
Oct. 9 from noon – 7 p.m. in Gallagher Center, Room 110
Oct. 20 from 1 – 2:30 p.m. in lower level Gallagher
Oc. 21 from 3-6 p.m. in the Gallagher Center multi-purpose room
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk: on Saturday, Oct. 18, in downtown Buffalo. Join our NU community and support a great cause. Campus activities will provide a free bus trip for students who want to participate; students just need to sign up in campus activities.
Breast Cancer Awareness Healthy Monday Programming: Oct. 20 from 1 – 2:30 p.m. in lower level Gallagher Center. Stop by the Healthy Monday programming table in the front of lower level Gallagher Center to show your support. Pick up your pink ribbon to wear in support of breast cancer, sign up for a monthly self-breast exam reminder, and get your free breast self-examination card.
Change your PURPLE to PINK on Friday, Oct. 24, 2014, in support of the cause. Wear pink to work.
Special Intention Mass: A special intention Mass in celebration of Breast cancer Awareness Month will be held on Friday, Oct. 24, at 12:15 p.m. Come pray for those who are currently battling breast cancer, recognize breast cancer survivors, remember those who have lost their battle and pray for a cure.
