Please join us on Monday, January 28 from 10:10 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. in Room 350 of the Academic Complex to learn about the recent restructuring of the Office of Sponsored Programs and Foundation Relations, which includes the promotion of Jill Shuey to the position of Director and appointment of Adrienne Stanfill to the position of Assistant Vice President. The gathering will provide an opportunity to congratulate Jill, welcome Adrienne back to Niagara University, learn about the exciting resources and grant-related workshops planned for the semester, and provide valuable insights and suggestions to help shape the development of a series of resources and workshops that would be most valuable to the campus community related to external funding.

As many of you know, Adrienne Stanfill served as Niagara University’s Director of the Office of Sponsored Programs and Foundation Relations from 2004 through 2015. In her new capacity at Niagara, Adrienne’s focus will be upon broadening the University’s efforts to secure external funding that will support Strategic Plan initiatives as well as the research agendas of faculty members. Adrienne has more than 20 years of professional experience in fund development, management, and philanthropy. Most recently, Adrienne served as Director, External Resources at the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo.

Jill Shuey joined the office of Sponsored Programs & Foundation Relations in 2013 as the Assistant Director, however her tenure with the University began in 2006 when she was hired to serve as the Executive Director of ReNU Niagara, where she provided leadership for the University’s active involvement in the community. While Jill will continue to lead post-award management and compliance efforts, her role will be expanded to include the implementation of campus outreach initiatives to encourage the active submission of funding requests to government agencies and private foundations.
