Our Lady of Angels Association Vincentian Charities Dinner: May 21
Frank Layden, former Niagara University basketball coach, will be joining Our Lady of Angels Association as they honor the Vincentian priests and brother who serve at Niagara University at their Vincentian Charities Dinner. In addition to the Vincentian’s ministries at the university, they are also involved in numerous civic and religious organizations in the Niagara Falls and Western New York area. This year’s honorees are Rev. James J. Maher, C.M., Rev. Joseph L. Levesque, C.M., Rev. Kevin G. Creagh, C.M., Rev. Joseph Hubbert, C.M., Rev. William M. Allegretto, C.M., Rev. Vincent J. O’Malley, C.M., Rev. John Dang, C.M. and Brother Martin F. Schneider, C.M. The proceeds from the dinner supports programs for the poor which receive grants through the Vincentian Community’s “Vincentian Charities.” One such program is the “Learn and Serve” program at Niagara University. Learn and Serve supports numerous education and charitable organizations in the Niagara County area.
