Peace Action Niagara -Menstrual Hygiene Drive
Senior Matthew McKenzie, campus organizer for Niagara University’s chapter of Peace Action New York State, is coordinating the organization’s third annual collection of hygiene products from Oct. 25–Nov. 15, 2021, to benefit Carolyn’s House, a supportive housing program for homeless women and children operated by the YWCA of the Niagara Frontier and located in the City of Niagara Falls.
Donations of tampons, pads, bras, and underwear will be collected in bins across the NU campus, including in the offices of Multicultural Affairs, IMPACT, Campus Ministry, Campus Activities, and the NU Student Government Association. Bins are also available in the Seton Hall common room and in the residence life office in O’Shea Hall. Venmo donations will also be accepted (PANY_NU).
