Peer mentors needed

In Announcements, by , on June 3rd, 2015

The Office of International Relations is recruiting students, faculty and staff for our Peer Mentor Program.  This is an excellent opportunity to live the spirit of St. Vincent de Paul by serving others and helping them to adjust to life on campus and in the United States.  Being a mentor offers advantages for both the mentor and mentee.  This is a wonderful chance to learn about other cultures, make new friends, and help the university become a more welcoming international community.

Our goals for this program is to help new international students adjust to their new life in the U.S., encourage them to enrich their social life by participating in the activities offered on campus and support them to overcome any cultural obstacles they may encounter during their stay in the U.S.
