Peter Florczak and Mike Jeswald Join CoHST Staff
The College of Hospitality, Sport, and Tourism Management welcomes Peter Florczak as the new club and hotel management coordinator. In that role, Peter succeeds Dr. Deborah Curtis (who retired in December) to lead the university’s Club Management Association of America program. Peter’s first task is to assist CMAA students in hosting their annual fundraising dinner on Feb. 17 at the Buffalo Club.
CoHST is also excited to announce that it is now the official home of Niagara University’s Office of Conference and Events. Director Michael Jeswald officially joined the CoHST dean’s office staff on Dec. 1. Mike now leads a team of event management students for event services, providing an opportunity to integrate classroom lessons with real-world experience. Chris Sheffield, VP for student life, now oversees dining and catering services. Both Mike and Peter have offices on the 4th floor of Glynn Hall.
