Please join the College of Business in welcoming three new members into the college this semester.
- Ms. Sarah Heximer joins us as the Faculty Fellow in Food Marketing. Sarah is the Owner and Principal of True Colors Strategy – a marketing and brand strategy firm, and has worked as Marketing Director and other roles at Shea’s Performing Arts Center, Eric Mower + Associates, Chocolate Delivery Systems, Rich Products, and more. Sarah has already enjoyed success at NU as advisor for our student team at the 2020 National Grocers Association Case Competition. The team from NU took second place, bettering teams like Cornell, and defending champion St. Joseph’s!
- Mr. Phil Catanese is the new Director of Centers and College Outreach. Phil comes to us from the Buffalo News, where he served as VP of Corporate Relations. Phil has also served as VP of Store Sales at Retail Store Sales, contracting with companies like Tops, Wegmans, Aldi, Walmart, and more. His role in the College of Business is to strengthen and promote our three centers: Food Marketing Center of Excellence, Center for Supply Chain Excellence, and Family Business Center. Phil will also work on fundraising and corporate outreach for our programs in Lewiston and Vaughan.
- Ms. Whitney Skeans as the Assistant Director of Graduate Business Programs. Whitney most recently was a customer business manager at National Fuel, and before that with Consumers Energy in Michigan. Her experience in relationship management will serve her well in her role as she works to strengthen our graduate programs through college, corporate, and community outreach, and also through improving our online presence, recruitment, and admissions process.
Please extend a welcome to Sarah, Phil, and Whitney in the College of Business!
