Poetry, fiction, nonfiction, photography and art sought for the 2021 issue of the Aquila!

The Aquila (established in 1937), Niagara University’s literary and art magazine, seeks submissions for its upcoming 2021 issue. The Aquila welcomes submissions of various kinds: from poems and fiction and essays to art and photography.

Of particular interest for this upcoming issue of The Aquila are submissions that focus – with the ongoing coronavirus pandemic in mind – on the theme of “the Viral.”

GUIDELINES
1500 word limit for fiction, nonfiction, and essays.

A limit of submitting up to 5 poems, 5 pieces of art or photography (as high quality jpegs), and 5 pieces of prose.
