Prayers are requested for Alexander C. Basta and his family. Mr. Basta passed away on Wednesday, May 13. He is the father of Dr. Joanne Basta, ’84, ’87, adjunct professor of mathematics and psychology. He is also the husband of Rosemary Basta, ’84; the father of Stephanie Rockwood, ’82, and Christine D’Aloise, ’89; and the grandfather of current student, Francesca Rockwood.
Family will be present to receive friends on Sunday, May 17, from 3-8 p.m. at the M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 18, at 10 a.m. at St. Peter’s RC Church, 620 Center Street, Lewiston.
